If I'm playing a Dwarf, for example, and my friend is playing an Elf, can we play together as long as we're on the same side?
Yes. In
Warhammer Online, Dwarfs, High Elves and Empire are allied and can play together. On the Destruction side, Dark Elves, the greenskins (Orcs and Goblins), and Chaos can work together. Each race is not restricted to its home, and players are free to travel to the starting areas of their allies if they so choose. With the release of 1.3.2, newly created characters will automatically appear in the Empire vs. Chaos starting area; subscribers can use a special scroll that will be in their inventory when a character is first created to travel to the other starting areas if they choose.

Are any races or careers limited to one gender?
One of the things that makes Warhammer such an exciting IP is its rich tapestry of lore and backstory. In keeping with the flavor of this tradition,
Warhammer Online's races and careers do have varied accessibility based on gender. The greenskins are technically only one androgynous gender (neither male nor female), and Chaos Marauders and Chosen must be male. Witch Elves must be female--there is no room for a Groom of Khaine! However, Malekith has chosen to unleash the full fury of dark magic upon his cousins by allowing both males and females to become Sorcerers.

What is Morale, and what are Morale Abilities?
Morale abilities are powerful "charge up" abilities. Morale is earned during combat, and once you have gained enough Morale to use your Morale ability, you can click its icon to activate it. Be aware that once you've used a Morale ability, you'll need to build more Morale in order to use another one.

What are Tactics?
Tactics are enhancements that help you fight the way YOU want to. Are you going to equip offensive Tactics to give you an edge as you charge headfirst into battle, or are you going to equip defensive Tactics that give you extra protection against a certain foe? The number of available slots for Tactics will increase as you rank up.

What are Action Points and how do they work?
Action Points (AP) are a pool available to each character that enables them to use special, powerful abilities. They're a baseline resource that players must manage strategically in combat to guarantee that they are able to execute the right move at the right time in a fight. If the AP pool has been exhausted, players need to wait for it to replenish before executing additional abilities with an AP-cost attached to them. AP regenerates rather quickly, so it never takes more than a few seconds to get back into the action.

How does ability selection work? I understand that each Career has a certain pool of abilities to choose from, but are all of those abilities unique, or is it more of a repetition of the same abilities that just become more powerful as you Rank up?
Players don't purchase the same ability over and over, buying different versions of the same skill. Each career has around 20 guaranteed unique actions, split between core and base abilities. After that, they can purchase additional supplemental abilities which will increase the player's total number of abilities by about 10-25%, depending on how they choose to spend their Mastery Points. Overall most players have approximately 25+ actions available to them at Rank 40. (This does not include Morale abilities.)

What careers have the ability to resurrect fallen companions?
For Dwarfs, the Runepriest. For the greenskins, the Shaman. For the Empire, the Warrior Priest. For Chaos, the Zealot. For the High Elves, the Archmage. For the Dark Elves, the Disciple of Khaine.

Do magic-using careers have advantages and disadvantages versus other types of magic?
Yes. Ranged damage of all kinds is broken up into resistance categories (as are all forms of damage, for that matter). Careers (not just magic users) will be weaker or stronger against specific sorts of damage, depending on their baseline resistances as well as the armor and Tactics they are currently using.

Do healers get credit for healing in Public Quests and RvR?
Absolutely! Healing is just as highly-rewarded as dealing damage in both cases.
